Paul Scholes admits he would have considered playing for either Barcelona or AC Milan, but only if Manchester United no longer needed him.
The former England international enjoyed a successful spell at Old Trafford under the guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson, playing an integral role in the majority of their trophy successes with the Scot.
Scholes was a key player throughout his 20-year career at United but admits there are two other clubs that he admired from a distance.
