Temperatures are set to sizzle in Greater Manchester this week, but unfortunately the warm weather is not going to last long.
According to forecasters temperatures could reach highs of 23C by Thursday, meaning it will be nearly 10C hotter in Greater Manchester than Turkey's Istanbul this week.
Most of the week will be dry and sunny due to high pressure currently over Scandinavia, causing a warm easterly breeze. Despite the warm weather, sun-worshippers must still stay at home and make the most of the sunshine in back gardens if they can due to the current lockdown measures.
By the weekend, temperatures will start to cool off and there could be some frosty mornings on the horizon. But Met Office experts have said today will be "very sunny"
