Police were called to a premises on Wigan Road in Westhoughton to reports of a man with a knife. Officers say he entered the store with the weapon before taking money from the till and fleeing the scene on foot.
No injuries were reported and an investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone with any information is urged to contact police.
