Man cut from car and taken to hospital after vehicle he was in smashed into building and parked cars

Oldham, at around 2.30am on Tuesday morning (June 16). A car collided with a building and nearby parked vehicles, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue  said.

A man in his 20s - who was in the moving car - had to be cut free from the vehicle.He was then taken to hospital in an ambulance.Pictures taken at the scene show a number of damaged vehicles and a boarded-up wall on a building.An eyewitness said this morning that 'at least two cars' looked to be 'completely written-off'.Hollins Road was closed off by police for several hours and a cordon was in place.The road was reopened at around 9.30am, TfGM confirmed.
