In a new interview with You magazine, Lucy talked about being Rami‘s date to the 2019 Oscars, where he won the award for Best Actor for his work in the film. While reflecting on that moment nearly three years later, Lucy said, “It sounds so silly but I was really unaware of the public element of that.
You’re just absorbing, millisecond by millisecond, what is happening, and then suddenly you hear the applause and you realize it’s been a public moment, which is slightly strange.” This isn’t the first time that Lucy has talked about the moment.
