Moira Anderson Foundation nominated for national charity award
voting for them in the additional people’s choice category.Winners will be announced in a virtual ceremony next month, and the Foundation is contesting the main charity of the year award alongside HIV Scotland, My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, Simon Community Scotland, outdoor organisation the Green Team and the Scottish Centre for Personal Safety.The nomination comes in the local charity’s 20th anniversary year; and founder Sandra Brown says the prestigious honour shows that “ours is a charity whose time has come”.
