Line of Duty ‘set to return for season seven’

evoke.ieAfter what many deemed a disastrous ending of season six and what appeared to be the end of the series altogether, it looks like Line of Duty may be returning for a seventh season.
The last season culminated with AC-12 discovering the identity of the police officer codenamed ‘H’ in a resolution that drew 12.8 million viewers.
It was certainly a controversial ending and fans called for the show to continue despite the central mystery finally being solved.
Now it looks like their prayers could be answered as a source has revealed that a seventh season is in the works. A source told the Daily Star, ‘Another series is happening.
