Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths reckons Rangers were lucky to escape Ibrox with only a 5-1 defeat back in 2017. Newcomer Pedro Caixinha received a rude awakening as he watched on helplessly from the sidelines while the Hoops dominated their rivals from first minute to last.
Griffiths was on target to make it 2-0 with Scott Sinclair, Callum McGregor, Mikael Lustig and Dedryck Boyata also netting for Celtic as Brendan Rodgers' Invincibles piled the misery on Rangers.
The Scottish international proved a more than able deputy up front with leading man Moussa Dembele sidelined due to injury. And with the score only 2-0 at the break - Griffiths is adamant Rangers were fortunate the game was still a contest at half time.
