Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen only wears leather trousers because they’re easy to wipe paint off. The 'Changing Rooms' star is to squeeze himself into his trademark trousers once again for the show’s reboot, but insists the only reason he favours them is because of how practical they are when painting, as if he wears “jeans or cords” they get “ruined” by the splatters.
In an interview with the new issue of Radio Times magazine, he said: “To be 57, squeezing into leather trousers and painting walls felt a bad idea. "I wear leather for a simple reason — if I kneel in paint, I can scrape it off.
