The executive producer spoke ahead of the recorded quiz show, revealing that Alex had filmed his final episodes just two weeks before his death over the weekend. “This is an enormous loss for our staff and crew, his family and for his millions of fans,” Mike shared in his message.
He added, “He loved this show and everything it stood for…he will forever be an inspriation for his constant desire to learn, his kindness and for his love of his family.” The message ended with the stage dimming the lights.
