Leno’s offensive jokes prompted MANAA to undergo a nearly 15-year-long campaign to pressure NBC to cut ties with him. The comedian’s most recent offense came in 2019 on the set of “America’s Got Talent,” where he made fun of Koreans eating dog meat.“At the time I did those jokes, I genuinely thought them to be harmless,” the 70-year-old said during the Zoom call.
