Japanese Rapper SKY-HI's 3-Hour Home Concert Raises Charity Funds From Fan Donations

Japanese rapper SKY-HI live-streamed a concert from his home Wednesday (May 6) to reach out to fans self-isolating at home on the final day of Japan's Golden Week of holidays.

The J-pop artist, whose real name is Mitsuhiro Hidaka, performed a whopping 46 songs during the three-hour event that started at 2 p.m., streamed live via his official YouTube channel, his SKY-HI STAFF Twitter, and skyhidaka Instagram accounts.

The segment between 3 to 4 p.m. was also broadcast live during J-WAVE's holiday special program called #Ongaku wo tomeruna (Don't Stop the Music) STAY HOME FESTIVAL.

Performing from his home studio space clad in pajamas, SKY-HI kicked off the first hour of his solo concert with 19 songs mainly from his 2018 album, JAPRISON.
