James Corden mocks Will Smith's Oscars slap with Jada parody song on show

James Corden has mocked Will Smith in a comedy skit following him slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars.The TV show host, 43, appeared on his show The Late Late show and performed a parody from animated film Encanto as he pretended to warn the show producers that they shouldn’t mention the incident on the show. "James, we have to at least acknowledge what happened," one producer said, before James chimed in. 'We don't talk about Jada, no, no, no,' he sang, parodying the tune We Don't Talk About Bruno from Lin-Manuel Miranda's Encanto, which won the Oscar for Best Animated Film on Sunday evening.

James was seen trying to think of other moments in the Oscars to mention, such as Beyonce performing her song Be Alive from the film King Richard, which was nominated for Best Motion Picture of the Year and for which Will won his first Best Actor Oscar.

However, the skit didn’t go down too well with some viewers. On Twitter, one wrote: “I was having a nice morning until I saw a video of James Corden singing ‘We Don’t Talk About Jada’.” Another added: “James Corden making the worst jokes that you will ever hear.” Someone else wrote: "This is genius because James Corden instantly killed Encanto and Will Smith Oscar memes.
