Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Jack Hendry has admitted his future at his parent club is out of his hands, but will return to fight for his place if that's what Neil Lennon wants.

Hendry was limited to just a single Betfred Cup appearance for Celtic last season before he was shipped out to Australia for the second half of his campaign.

A serious injury cut his spell with Melbourne short, however, and after returning to Parkhead for pre-season training, he found himself heading out once more - this time to Oostende in Belgium.He's hit the ground running for his new side, starting nine of their last ten matches, and it seems increasingly likely they will trigger a £1.75m option to buy before he returns to Glasgow.
