A woman whose step-dad died after collapsing on the street in Tameside said losing a loved one during lockdown has been a 'nightmare'.
George Peter Buckley, a retired labourer, passed away on Easter Sunday after suffering a suspected heart attack. The 77-year-old, known by his middle name Peter, collapsed on King Street in Mossley.
Peter was deaf and could not speak, his step-daughter said. A young woman saw Peter collapse and waited with him until an ambulance arrived at the scene.
He was rushed to Tameside General Hospital. Peter's step-daughter, Anne Tym, said his relatives weren't informed for several hours.
