A social group for older members of the LGBT community are tackling social isolation in a unique way - by hosting meet-ups with famous faces.

Friends of Dorothy was formed two years ago by Craig Burton, 54, who is based in Leeds. After the success of the initial group, the organisation launched another in Manchester, based at the LGBT Foundation on Canal Street.

Through events and gatherings, the intentions of the group are to provide LGBT people over the age of 55 with a social circle.
