New guidance has been published advising retailers how to operate safely when they are permitted to reopen - and the way we shop could be about to look very different.
Though it's not yet clear when non-essential retail will be able to reopen, there are expected to be new measures in place to keep shops safe for customers and retail staff.
Under the guidelines, published by the British Retail Consortium and Usdaw, it may no longer be possible to try on clothes, to shop in pairs or groups, or to use cash in store.
