The Trotters conceded six goals at their present home for the first time at the start of last month when the Valiants, then managed by John Askey, beat Evatt's side 6-3.
Askey was sacked by the Vale Park outfit yesterday with Vale sitting 17th in League Two and the win over Wanderers in fact being their most recent in the division.
Since then, Wanderers have picked up just four points, including a win over Cheltenham Town and a draw against Carlisle United, both on the road.Since the loss to the Valiants, Wanderers have conceded three goals in a match on two further occasions, which have included the defeat to Tranmere Rovers and the draw against the Cumbrians.
