After just under 27 months, they now find themselves at the top of the Women’s Super League and serious contenders in the title race.However, when asked in her pre-match press conference if hers was the team to beat, Stoney was quick to note that there is still a long way to go in the season.“I wouldn't say so, to be honest," she said.
