How a Manchester brewery is powering itself using waste beer

But the brewery on Princess Parkway in Moss Side isn’t just making beer, it’s generating energy out of the millions of pints that would have otherwise been thrown down the drain.

The British Beer and Pub Association (BBPA) estimates that around 87 million pints have been wasted as a result of the pandemic - costing the beer and pub sector around £331 million.
