“The Talk.” Horror fanatic Anthony Woodle, 30, of Charleston, South Carolina, had proposed to his girlfriend Emilee on Halloween in 2016 — as seen in this adorable video.

However, tragedy struck when he was diagnosed with throat cancer a mere three years later, also on Halloween, Charleston’s Post and Courier reported.Just prior to that, the movie theater where the aspiring director worked reached out to “Halloween Kills” director David Gordon Green, to tell him about Woodle’s devoted fandom.
