It comes as it was announced on Tuesday morning that more than 4,000 deaths had been registered in care homes as a result of the virus.
It has also been announced by Matt Hancock at today's daily coronavirus press briefing that anyone working in a care home and its residents will now be able to get tested for Covid-19 as well as all those aged 65 and over with symptoms and their households.
