The Department for Education (DfE) expects all remaining students to be able to return to in-person teaching at university when further easing of social contact limits indoors are confirmed, which will be no earlier than May 17.

Progression to Step Three of the roadmap will be dependent on a review of the latest data and the impact of other restrictions being eased this month.

Upon return, all students and staff are encouraged to take three supervised tests (3 to 5 days apart) at an asymptomatic testing site on campus.
