GORDON Ramsay has been at the heart of gripes from his Cornish neighbours after bunking down in his holiday home amid the coronavirus pandemic - yet he appears to have got his own back.

In the most subtle way possible, The F Word chef gushed over one member of his seaside community after they picked some fresh asparagus and brought it to his door.

Gordon, who is staying in his £4million pad with his family, quipped the gesture oozed "love thy neighbour" morality and insisted: "That's how you look after each other." The foodie made his between-the-lines comments on his Instagram Stories, complete with a video of the veg.
