Richard Madeley said he didn't need his Good Morning Britain co-star anymore - as he shared his very own weather hack. Richard and Susanna Reid joined Charlotte Hawkins for the news and Laura Tobin for the weather on the ITV breakfast show.

And Richard informed Laura there was no need for her predictions as he shared his experience of a stunning sunrise on his way to work.He said: "I have to say there was an amazing sunrise driving in this morning, it was a really bright, bright red."Is that old saying sunrise in morning, shepherd's warning true?"Laura responded: "Red sky in the morning, shepherd's warning - it's actually true because the sun is rising in the south east and it basically is reflecting off the clouds that are coming in.

So if clouds are coming in, it would rain later."Richard then told her: "Oh great, so we don't need you."Laura who pretended to walk off set and joked: "Ok then see you later."Richard then said they "just needed to say the rhyme" rather than get her detailed weather reports but Susanna thanked Laura for her latest report.
