Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.There was an outstanding performance by Glengowan Primary School pupils in the recent South Lanarkshire Council Sumdog Maths Contest.Final results saw the Larkhall-based school take first, second and third place for Primary 7B Room 14 , Primary 6 Room 12 and Primary 7A room13 respectively.Six Glengowan classes in total finished in the top 10 - out of 141 classes across the county.Whatsmore, in the individual contest, 13 Glengowan pupils finished in the top 20 out of 2236 pupils, including one in first place and one in third place.Sumdog is an online games-based learning platform, accessed by thousands of pupils nationwide.There is a South Lanarkshire.
