A girl was rushed to hospital after being hit by a bus in Bolton. Police were called to reports of a crash involving a bus and a pedestrian just after 3.15pm on Friday (January 21).

The incident happened on Turton Road. Emergency services were called to the scene and the pedestrian, a girl, was taken to hospital.

Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, a spokesman for GMP said. Enquiries are currently ongoing and no arrests have been made.
