Tommy “Tiny” Lister Jr. has sadly passed away at the age of 62. Tommy was reportedly found unconscious at his Los Angeles-area apartment on Thursday (December 10), and was pronounced dead on the scene, according to TMZ. Tommy‘s manager, Cindy Cowan, later confirmed the news to Variety. “He was a wonderful guy with a heart of gold.
Everyone loved him. A real gentle giant,” Cindy said in a statement. “We’re all devastated.” Tommy rose to fame in the 1980s as a pro wrestler, and battled against fellow entertainers like Hulk Hogan. Tommy also appeared as Deebo in the Friday movie franchise opposite Ice Cube.
As of right now, Tommy‘s cause of death has not been reported. Tommy is survived by a daughter.
