Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Fraser Forster to return - but admits he is looking at other goalkeeping options. A deal had been agreed between the Premiership champions and Southampton for the giant keeper to head back north on loan next season - only for Forster to hold out for a permanent move.

With Craig Gordon having left to join Hearts, a number one is the signing priority for Lennon with less than four weeks until the season kicks off.

Former Hoops number one David Marshall is another option as is Joe Hart who has been sounded out by Celtic. And Lennon told Sky Sports : “Well we are looking at other options. "There was a deal agreed between both the clubs and it's gone quiet from the player's side of things."Like everything else, we would dearly love him back.
