Fire crews rushed to tackle a blaze after three vehicles were set on fire in Newmains.Scottish Fire and Rescue were called in the early hours of Monday morning following the incident in Murdostoun View.A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 1.49am on Monday, April 6 to reports of three vehicles on fire in Newmains.“Operations Control mobilised one appliance to the town’s Murdostoun View, where crews were met by a van and two vehicles well alight.“Firefighters extinguished the fire and made the area safe before leaving the scene.“There were no casualties.”A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “We received a report of three vehicles on fire on Murdostoun View, Newmains around 1.55am on Monday, April 6."No-on
