Dancing With the Stars premiered last night with taking the helm as the new host, and it was a delightful Monday-night mess.

When the lights when on and the show began, Tyra strutted out in a stunning red gown before changing into a suit for the rest of the night.

From there, stars like Nelly, , , , and danced the night away. In a surprise virtual appearance, longtime judge Len Goodman made Tyra tear up when he told her that he thought she earned a "10" for her hosting.

That said, fans were way more divided about the new direction the show is headed without Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. The good news is that the America's Next Top Model and America's Got Talent host absolutely handled the awkward moments, like her earring malfunction and.
