FA makes controversial null and void call as non-league clubs admit season cannot finish

The English National League has taken the decision to end the 2019/20 season and declared all results null and void from the seventh tier of English football down.

There will be no promotion or relegation for clubs in the Isthmian Division one and below after the controversial call was made with no set date for when football can resume as coronavirus restrictions hit the game hard.

It's a decision that will be noted with interest by Scottish Premiership onlookers, with the SPFL yet to reach a decision over how to end campaigns north of the border if they cannot restart.
