Two people were checked over by paramedics after a crash involving four vehicles in Bolton. Crews from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) were called to Bradford Road following reports of a road traffic collision shortly before 6pm on Friday evening (July 15).
One fire engine, from Bolton, attended while an ambulance and a police car could also be seen at the scene. Initial enquiries established that the crash involved four vehicles. Firefighters were in attendance for around half an hour. A spokesperson for GMFRS said: “At 17:50 on 15 July, crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving four vehicles on Bradford Road in Bolton. “One fire engine from Bolton station attended.
Crews worked to make the scene safe, and two people were assessed by colleagues from North West Ambulance Service at the scene. “Firefighters were in attendance for approximately 30 minutes.” Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service have both been approached by the M.E.N.
