A road was taped off and four fire engines were scrambled to the scene following a house fire in Oldham.The blaze broke out in the bedroom of a property on Burnley Lane in Chadderton.Police and paramedics were also called to the scene.One person - who escaped from the home - was assessed for 'slight burns', a fire service spokesman said.The spokesman confirmed the blaze broke out at about 4.25pm today (Wednesday).Crews were on the scene for one hour and 40 minutes.He said: "Four fire engines from Chadderton, Hollins, Heywood and Blackley fire stations were called to reports of a fire at a domestic premises on Burnley Lane, Chadderton."Crews arrived quickly and extinguished the fire, which involved a bedroom of a two-storey terraced.
