EastEnders star Shona McGarty has wowed her fans as she showed off an unrecognisable transformation. Fans best know the actress for playing Whitney Dean in the BBC One soap, a role she has held since 2008.

But Shona, 30, spent her weekend transforming into someone else other than her Walford-dwelling character with fans commenting how she managed to go from 'Whitney to Britney' so easily.

The soap star channeled her inner pop star by dressing up as the singing icon, replicating her look from the Toxic video back in 2003.

She ditched her red locks for a blonde wig and copied Britney's flight attendant outfit.
