Strictly Come Dancing announces 2022 professionals after Alijaz and Oti quit BBC show
dailyrecord.co.ukStrictly Come Dancing has confirmed which professionals will be returning this year, and there's some shocking exits. Long time professional dancers Aljaž Škorjanec and Oti Mabuse have both decided to quit the show, and the BBC has now confirmed who will be making an appearance for the 2022 series.
Fan favourites like Giovanni Pernice, who won the show with beloved EastEnders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis, is set to make a return, as well as runner up Johannes Radebe.
Johannes came in second place with The Great British Bake Off star John Whaite, alongside pro Amy Dowden who was partnered with Tom Fletcher.
The full list of professionals includes Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Graziano Di Prima, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Cameron Lombard and Gorka Marquez, reports The Mirror.Luba Mushtuk, Giovanni Pernice, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Kai Widdrington and Nancy Xu also make the cut.Anton du Beke is noticeably absent from the list, causing speculation from fans he may return to the show as a judge but these rumours haven't been confirmed by bosses yet.Sarah James, Executive Producer, said: "We could not be more proud of the Strictly professional dancers and we are so happy to have so many returning for 2022."The world-class skill and extraordinary care they bring to everything they do, from working with their celebrity partners to choreographing and performing remarkable and unforgettable routines, never ceases to amaze us."They really are the best in the business and we can’t wait to see what they bring to the Strictly ballroom for our twentieth fabulous series."Bosses have teased that there may be even more names added to the line-up, with further announcements a possibility
