Soap fans are in for a treat this week, as Eastenders have announced the launch of its brand new spin off series, The Kimfluencer, which will kick off this Friday.

The BBC soap's exciting new digital series will follow the journey of Albert Square’s very own Kim Fox (played by Tameka Empson) as she attempts to conquer the cutthroat world of social media influencing and make a name for herself.

The nine-part comedy series is due to launch on Friday 6 May, with new episodes dropping weekly on the soap’s Youtube and Facebook pages.

As part of the quirky web-series, viewers will see Kim has enlist the help of Howie Danes (played by Delroy Atkinson) as her very own personal cameraman as she tries her hand at a variety of different influencer trends and challenges including boxing and upcycling – with hilarious results!
