Driver dies after three-vehicle crash in Highlands

dailyrecord.co.ukHighlands. Police raced to the serious crash on the B9039 which involved a Renault Clio, Honda Civic and a Mercedes Vito van near Inverness at around 5.20pm on Friday.
A 56-year-old man, who was the only person inside the Clio involved, was pronounced dead at the scene. Emergency crews took the driver of the Honda Civic to Raigmore Hospital after suffering non life-threatening injuries.The van driver was unharmed in the incident.Police closed the road for seven hours as officers combed the scene as part of their investigations.
