In an effort to continue to diversify its content offering, Disney+ has introduced its “Launchpad” program. The studio sets a theme for every season and seeks out a short film from experienced underrepresented writers and directors in the entertainment industry, including but not limited to women, people of color, and the LGBTQ+ community.
