The infection rate is also rising and the town is now one of England's top 10 hotspots for the virus.Latest Government figures show that as as of Wednesday, September 16, there have been 1,781 positive cases of the virus in Warrington.That's a rise of 69 compared to Monday.Warrington's infection rate has also increased and now stands at 105 cases per 100,000 people.
