Kilmarnock. Locals had tipped off the force about suspected drug dealing and misuse in the community. Police searched a property on a warrant at around 10am yesterday on King Street and said they found 'significant quantities' of what they suspect to be cannabis.
Two men, age 28 and 35, have been arrested and charged in relation to the production of a controlled drug in connection with the recovery.A full report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.Detective Inspector Ewan Bell said, "Tackling drug supply remains a key priority in East Ayrshire.“Drugs cause devastation to communities and families and Police Scotland will continue to target anyone involved in the supply of illegal drugs and the criminality that surrounds it.”"I would.
