Cops hunt man after woman knocked to the ground in Cumbernauld attack

in Hill Road at around 5.25am on Sunday, July 18. A man approached her from behind, while she was near to the underpass at Berry Hill Road, and knocked her to the ground.The victim was not injured in the incident but was left 'extremely upset'.Police have now launched an investigation and are hunting the suspect.

He is described as between 5ft 5inces to 6ft tall, of thin build, has blonde/ginger hair and was wearing a light-coloured baseball cap.Detective Constable Katy Goldie of Coatbridge CID said: “The woman was walking near to the underpass at Berry Hill Road when a man approached her from behind and knocked her to the ground.
