Clive Davis is putting his annual pre-Grammys bash on hold after he was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy. The 88-year-old record producer’s spokesperson revealed that Clive was diagnosed with the condition last week and is currently undergoing treatment.

Bell’s Palsy is characterized as sudden weakness in the muscles on one half of the face. “He is being treated with antibiotics and steroids and is expected to recover within six to eight weeks,” Clive‘s rep shared in a statement with ET Online. “He is in good spirits and looks forward to doing the second half of his pre-GRAMMY gala in May.” Late last year, Clive announced that he was changing up his traditional pre-Grammys party by holding to virtual ceremonies via Zoom for the 2021 nominees.
