I’d like to think that, in my time occupying a morsel of space on this pale blue dot we call home, I’ve developed the ability to follow the structure of a film from start to finish; granted, some may be more confusing than others, some may be an incomprehensible mess, some may hardly be worthy of being called movies. Whatever the case may be, I pride myself on what many would barely consider a skill to mostly decipher what’s happening in most films, no matter how perplexing or under the direction of Tommy Wiseau.

Netflix’s six series in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Punisher, as well as their Avengers-style crossover event The Defenders – will have two more weeks to get their fix, with all 13 combined seasons leaving the platform’s UK site at the start of March.It’ll be slightly earlier for Netflix subscribers in some regions, with NME confirming that in the US, Canada and some European countries, the full slate of series – which were produced between 2015 and 2019 – will leave the service on February 27. In Australia, the shows will disappear a day later.It’s yet to be announced where the series will be available to stream once they leave Netflix – though given that Marvel is owned by Disney, the company’s own Disney+ service – which launched in November 2019, five months after Netflix dropped the third and final season of Jessica Jones – seems to be a likely bet. Worth noting is that one of the Netflix series’ most iconic characters, Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin, played by Vincent D’Onofrio), recently made his comeback in the Disney+ original Hawkeye.

Noel Gallagher is the latest artist to pay tribute to David Bowie for the late, great pop and rock icon’s David Bowie Is series, touching on the last time the former Oasis leader conversed with Bowie.Not to be confused with a museum exhibit that toured the world between 2013 and 2018 (also named David Bowie Is), the series began last month with a seven-minute video showing Dave Grohl, Yungblud and Ricky Gervais reminiscing on their favourite Bowie moments, songs and interactions, and touching on the ways Bowie influenced their own careers. She went on to tag Jimmy Robbins, Ryan Tedder, Julia Michaels, Avenue Beat and Russell Dickerson.‘Needy’ was written by @juliamichaels along side some incredible writers.

Luis Fonsi is heading to another TV series! The Puerto Rican singer will be appearing on NBC’s Songland. Luis is one of several guest recording artists—including Usher, H.E.R., Bebe Rexha, Boyz II Men, Ben Platt and Lady Antebellum—that will be featured in season two of the hit songwriting competition series, which premieres April 13. The Despacito artist will be working with producer-panelists, Ester Dean, Shane McAnally and Ryan Tedder, to decide which undiscovered songwriter will be chosen to write and co-produce his next hit single.
