Carrie Underwood and her family are not among those harmed by the devastating tornadoes that took place in Nashville early Tuesday morning.
The country music star confirmed the news during a visit to "Today" on Tuesday, saying that her husband, Mike Fisher, and sons, Isaiah, 5, and Jacob, 13 months, were able to stay safe. "[Fisher] said he had to go upstairs at 2 a.m.
and grab the boys and take them down to [our] saferoom ..." said Carrie, 36. "I was like, ‘I bet everybody is crying.’ It’s 2 a.m., freaking out, so it was scary.” The singer revealed that she's been "texting people" to make sure they're safe.
