James Anthony Mallon, of Scoter Road, Kirkby, was stopped by police on the southbound carriageway of the M6 near Knutsford on October 24, 2020 driving a 2015-plate Man HGV tractor unit.

Officers had been called after an HGV was stolen from a yard near the eastbound carriageway of the M62 on October 1 that year.
