The First Minister expressed concerns over a new variant of Covid-19, which is believed to be accountable for around half of new cases.It means that individuals and businesses will have to live under restrictions seen during the first wave of the pandemic in March last year.All non-essential business must close once again in an effort to curb the spread of the virus.The Scottish Government has published a list of the shops and businesses that will be allowed to remain open during the new lockdown.
