Brechin City have warned they will not back a 14-14-14 setup in reconstruction talks. Hearts chief Ann Budge looking to push forward changes to prevent her club, Partick Thistle and Stranraer being relegated as a result of the SPFL season ending early.

She had been advocating for a temporary 14-14-14 setup that would have seen no relegation across the leagues. But Rangers have now proposed a 14-14-18 structure that would see Gers and Celtic colt sides join the bottom tier along with Kelty Hearts and Brora Rangers.
