Emergency services were called to Memorial Road, in Walkden, at around 9pm on Monday (June 7). They were initially called to reports of 'concerns over the welfare of a man', police said.
A man, aged 60, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His death is currently 'unexplained' and detectives have now launched an investigation.
