Meghan Markle has been praised for her "boss diva" eloquence after her first UK public speech since Megxit. The Duchess of Sussex, 41, address future world leaders at the One Young World Summit as she expressed her joy at being back on UK soil with husband Prince Harry, 37, by her side.
It was the Sussexes' first appearance in the UK since briefly returning for the Queen ’s Platinum Jubilee in June, when they attended the service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral.
The royal couple, who stepped down from senior duties and moved to the US in 2020, travelled by train to Manchester for the summit, which brings together young leaders from more than 190 countries.
It was the first stop of a whirlwind visit this week to attend charity events in the UK and Germany. Meghan looked regal in red as she gave the keynote speech at the opening ceremony on Monday, with her "iconic" £2,400 ensemble hailed by fans.
